Southern Oregon Retirement Planners was founded by Chad Swanson, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor in Grants Pass, Oregon. Initially insurance licensed in 1998 and then securities licensed in 1999, Swanson has been a producer for multiple local independent insurance agencies as well as a Wealth Advisor for Global Wealth Managers UBS and Morgan Stanley. He has owned his own Registered Investment Advisory Firm and as Senior Portfolio Manager has traded and managed a Private Hedge Fund.After 28 years of industry experience, Chad is now focusing his attention on helping Retirees gain access to fixed, guaranteed income strategies to help them secure a successful retirement. Chad moved to Oregon 30 years ago to raise his family (married 32 years, 5 children) and currently lives in beautiful Grants Pass.
